A ceremony at Leeds Civic Hall honoured his life, his achievements in rugby, and his impact in raising awareness and support for MND.

The ceremony brought together around 180 people, including Burrow’s family, friends, and supporters. Notable attendees included former teammate Jamie Jones-Buchanan, MND Association CEO Tanya Curry, and Leeds City Council leader James Lewis. Organized by the Lord Mayor of Leeds, Abigail Marshall Katung, the event celebrated Rob’s contribution to rugby and his inspiring courage in facing MND.
On July 7, fans lined the streets of Leeds to pay their respects during a funeral parade leading to a private service. Burrow’s wife Lindsey, their three children, and close family joined the procession. In a poignant moment, the hearse paused at Featherstone Lions’ ground, where Rob’s passion for rugby began.
